Our thanks to Joe Marko and the staff at HMS Motorsport for a thoroughly informative and enjoyable presentation on safety equipment. The seminar was useful to both racers as well as those of us who just enjoy driving our Triumphs. Viewing the sled tests and having Joe explain the current developments in technology made for a clear understanding of the use of harnesses.

The group was very attentive throughout the presentation. Joe went through the differences in driving helmets and precautions necessary for their use. He stressed the importance of having your own helmet as it will conform to your face and head with wear. When you buy, you want to take the time to try on and ensure a proper fit. 

  Joe also demonstrated the "Hans" and explained its installation and use. It is now a NASCAR requirement. HMS is outfitters to over 20 NASCAR teams this season.

  The talk also included a review of seats, driving suits, shoes and gloves. And that all important break for Pizza ! No pictures, tho.
